A sell-out celebration of collaboration to support Mental Health
A sell-out celebration of collaboration to support Mental Health
Guest Editorial • Winter 2022
It has been a phenomenal year for Paul Longley and Think Mental Health, coming to a spectacular close at the sold-out Think Mental Health Black Tie Ball to raise funds for Andysmanclub in November at the Mercure Hotel in Willerby.
The evening was a culmination of major organisations from across the city invested in recognising the benefits of mental health support and its impact.
Paul Longley worked tirelessly, supported by Rix and Jeni Cornwall, to pull the event together and hand out five awards to recognise the efforts of those investing in mental health across the city. The winners:
- Catalyst Award – Airco
- Community Kickstarter Award – The First Ladies Club
- Innovation Champion – Reckitt
- Global Champion – Smith & Nephew
- Hull and Humber Champion- Rix
Think Cloud sponsored the awards, with their Director or Andysmanclub trustee Leon McQuade supporting the event throughout. In Paul’s words, the funds raised will save lives across the City. The 2023 Think Mental Health Black Tie Fundraising Ball will be bigger and better as sponsors wanting to be involved sadly had to be turned away for the event’s first year due to space. Contact Paul Longley via his website to express interest in getting involved in 2023.
