Andy Craggs, Food & Beverage Operations Manager at DoubleTree by Hilton Hull, was honoured with the prestigious Customer Hero of the Year award at the Hull and East Yorkshire People in Business Awards. This recognition highlights his exceptional guest service skills and underscores DoubleTree by Hilton’s commitment to providing unforgettable customer experiences.

At DoubleTree by Hilton Hull, the team is dedicated to going above and beyond for their guests, and Andy’s recognition exemplifies their unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. Samantha Dunion, General Manager DoubleTree by Hilton Hull, expressed immense pride in Andy’s achievements, praising his sense of humour, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service. Since working at the hotel Andy has received countless great customer reviews and helped increase service scores across several areas of the hotel from restaurant to bar.

Beyond being a hero to the customers, Andy is highly regarded by his colleagues. Andy manages over 50 employees across the restaurant, bar, and events operations team. He supports team members throughout the hotel and has become an invaluable asset to the venue.
