Aura Innovation Centre – Delivering Innovation and growth through collaboration

Many of you may have seen the Aura Innovation Centre (AIC) at the Bridgehead Business Park in Hessle, perhaps even joined us for an event, but have you ever considered or wondered what it is we do? Let us take this opportunity to invite you in to give you a glimpse of some of the extraordinary work going on behind the big glass doors!

Led by the University of Hull, the AIC is a community that supports businesses of all sizes across all sectors, helping them to accelerate projects through innovation support.  As the Humber’s leading net zero centre, we act as the “front door” to the University of Hull – providing opportunities for businesses to access a network of brilliant academic minds. Our vision is to give companies, particularly SMEs, access to research expertise and advanced technology to help shape their innovation ideas into viable solutions.

We provide three business solutions under one roof which actively support businesses to accelerate, innovate and collaborate.

ConneX is our state-of-the-art conference facility offering 9 versatile event spaces which can be tailored to suit any business conference, networking event, exhibition or workshop.

FleX is our flexible working space which provides businesses with a low-cost flexible solution to work, meet and collaborate. Our home from home flexible workspace provides members with free AV equipped meeting spaces, high-speed Wi-Fi, free unlimited tea and coffee, designated parking, a postal address and reception support.

InventX is our innovation tech space – equipped with everything a business needs to transform ideas into reality – from cutting-edge 3D printers to advanced microscopy analysis capabilities. Our team of skilled technicians can help you at any stage of your innovation from accelerating an idea, developing a prototype to taking your product to market and working with experts to innovate.
