A new era in business collaboration for the region
A new era in business collaboration for the region
Y&H Update • Summer 2022
Y&H Business Publication embarked on the next steps of its journey with a collaboration with GBE Connect earlier this summer. The aim of the partnership is to continue and grow efforts for regional business collaboration and celebrate growth and success in the area.
GBE Connect is the pioneer of several events and initiatives focusing on technology and collaboration across global businesses and the founders of Tech Week and the People in Business Awards.
Our publication originated in 2018 as a member publication for The Business Culture Hull. In 2021, the publication was relaunched and rebranded in its new size and look due to growing popularity in a collaboration between The Business Culture Hull and marketing specialist Pinx Creative.
In line with the recent growth and success of The Business Culture Hull, which recently re-branded and launched a new digital platform, the partnership with GBE Connect will strengthen the portfolio of options for businesses to share their story and raise their profile.
Antonio Tombanane, the founder of GBE Connect, commented, “This is an exciting project for GBE Connect as we expand our media portfolio for the many businesses we work with. The Business Culture Hull’s growing community of nearly 200 businesses and their unrivalled reach brings endless opportunities for collaboration within the area.”
Tony Bowler, the founder of The Business Culture Hull, said, “Our business community is all about supporting each other and collaborating to drive business growth. The team at GBE Connect share these values, and we look forward to the many exciting projects in the future.”
The timing of the partnership times well with future initiatives such as the launch of The Edge Hub by GBE Connect in the Autumn of 2022. The Edge Hub is a brand-new technology centre dedicated to innovation, technology, and skills. The new centre will allow businesses to collaborate and upskill their workforce using the latest technology.
Jo Pinkney, the founder of Pinx Creative, added, “My background and passion is in events, education, and marketing – there couldn’t be a better fit for the publication’s future, which goes from strength to strength.”
