Our Programmes

Disability Rugby League – Learning Disability

Since its launch in 2018, Hull KR’s learning disability team has grown from strength to strength. The team gives individuals with learning disabilities and autism an opportunity to play Rugby League and maintain a healthy active lifestyle within a socially inclusive environment.

Growing to a team of over 20 players, our Robins have played at Anfield Stadium (Liverpool), St James’ Park (Newcastle) and Sewell Group Craven Park (Hull). Do you have learning difficulties and want to play rugby? Join us at Hull KR.

In addition to our Women’s open age team, we also have our Under-13’s, Under-14’s and Under-16’s teams to provide girls with every chance of succeeding in Rugby League.

If you need help finding work, please contact us so we can help you in every way possible.

Whether it be our monthly heritage evenings, a shirt display on matchdays, or stadium tours, fans can always see that the history of our club will not be forgotten.

Teaming Up For Health

Our health and wellbeing programme aims to help tackle obesity, isolation, and improve the mental and physical health of our participants. Whilst this includes twice weekly fitness session at the stadium, our fans and players of the future get involved as well with Rugby Rascals, coaching sessions for those aged 2-6 years old. Targeted towards an older generation, Our Best Years helps to tackle isolation with weekly sessions across Hull including games, social events and low-impact exercises. Our sessions run at the stadium and across Hull so we can help as many people as possible with the positive impact Hull KR has on our community.

Sessions: Throughout the week, every week

Location: Across Hull and Sewell Group Craven Park
